On the morning of July 4th we had a bike parade in our neighborhood. The kids were excited about decorating their bikes and riding around the block. We were planning on going to the Noblesville parade that afternoon but it was SO hot and humid that we decided to pass. So this was the only parade for them this year but that was fine. We watched the fireworks from our house and they were amazing. They were literally going off everywhere around us for a good hour or so. The kids all liked them and no one was scared so that was good. Here's a few pics from the neighborhood bike parade.

Boating with the Fam
Typically we try to go home to the UP for the 4th of July weekend. This year we weren't able to take time off for the 4th cause we were taking time off for Vanessa's wedding a few weeks after. So instead, my family came to us! I told my parents they deserve the best parents/grandparents award this summer for all the traveling they did to come see us. They came down for Sadie's birthday the end of May, came down in the middle of June for a week to watch the kids while Brad and I went to a wedding in Florida, and then they came down again for the 4th. When its 11 hours each way, thats a lot of driving in 6 weeks! It sure was great to see them so much though. Thanks mom and dad...we love ya!
Since we weren't going to be able to be on the lake at home, we decided we'd get a boat down here for a day. We rented a pontoon boat out at Morse Reservoir ( a few miles from our house). We had an absolute gorgeous day and we all had so much fun!

My 30th and Vanessa's 25th Bdays
My mom, dad, Vanessa, Quincy, Ben and Bailey all came down for mine and my sister's birthday's and to celebrate the 4th of July. Brad threw me a "surprise party". I was out shopping with my mom and Vanessa (they were in on it too) and when we came back a bunch of my friends and their families were at the house. I never had a surpise party and I thought it was sweet of Brad to do that for me. The weather was perfect for an outdoor party and we had a great time!

Pictures at the IMA
On an extremely hot and humid day in July we went and had pictures taken a the Indiana Art Museum. A friend of a friend took them for us (AmandaNicole). Even though we were SO hot and sweaty we still managed to get some good pictures. Rylee was being a little ham and having so much fun. Sadie on the other hand did not like the heat and wasn't a huge fan of the camera. But Amanda did a great job and still got some cute ones! She gave us a CD of about 100 pictures on it. I had a hard time picking which ones to put up here so I ended up putting a ton, not quite all 100 but close. This post is a little out of order but I know my family wanted to see them so I put them up anyways, enjoy.
