11 Months Old...already!

Our baby girl, looking so grown up.

11 months old already! Rylee is growing up so fast! She continues to amaze us and seems to learn something new daily. You can tell that she starting to understand what we are saying and it's so much fun. When we give her her little brush she knows to brush her hair which is so cute. She also brushes mommy and daddy's hair. She also loves shoes. You tell her to put her shoes on and she really does try to put them on. She even tries to put my shoes on too.

Trying to put her crocs on to go outside. She tries so hard to do it herself but just cant' quite do it yet, but its really cute to watch her try.

This month she got one new tooth. Her top left one, next to the two front teeth came in, you can see it in the top pic. It looks like the right one is soon to follow. She likes most table foods that we have tried with her and she's still a pretty good eater. She loves to play outside, especially now with her walker. She walks up and down the sidewalks and our driveway with her walker. She also does laps in our house with her walker. But no walking on her own yet. She will walk around holding mine or Brad's finger but when we try to let go she falls down instantly and won't even try to do it on her own. Oh well, we are in no hurry.

As you can see, she loves her walker.

"what's dat"

Having a blast

Just cruising around

Time out from walking to take a seat and point at the flowers and once again say "what's dat". She says that all the time.

She loves playing with her smiley beach ball from Miss Jaime.

So SWEET! Her hair is starting to fill in and get a little longer too. In this humid weather down here the back gets all curly.

This is her new expression and she says "ooohh"

Looking at the ceiling fan (which she has always loved) and saying "ooohh"

It's so hard to believe that our baby girl is almost 1!

10 Year Class Reunion

On Saturday, July 5th we headed up to Hancock for my 10 year class reunion. We also threw a baby shower Saturday morning for one of my best friends from home, Amy. It was just us girls and our moms. It was so much fun to all be together again.

Amy and the "choo choo train"

Rylee and my friend Lesley's son, Noah...I'm not sure what Rylee's holding Noah back from.

Sweet kisses from Noah

After the baby shower we headed out to McLain State Park for our class reunion picnic. I only graduated with about 60 people, we had a really small class. I think about 25 classmates showed up so it wasn't a great showing but it was so wonderful to see the people who did show up. I haven't seen some of them in years! It was really nice to spend some time visiting with them and meeting their kids.

The weather was beautiful and Lake Superior was actually warmer than expected. By the end of the picnic all the kids were splashing around in the water.

HCH Class of 98, at least some of us. This picture was taken at the end so some people had already left.

That evening our reunion continued at Nutini's Bar for dinner and drinks. My parents had came up with us so that we could take Rylee with us to the picnic but they took her home so we could go out for the night. We had such a good time! It was great to hang out with all of the girls again! I miss them and wish we could do it more often.

Love ya girls!

Independence Day!

I am so glad that we were able to be home for the 4th this year! Ever since I've been a baby it's been a tradition of our family's to go to the Ishpeming 4th of July parade. It was so fun to bring Rylee there this year. She wasn't exactly sure what was going on with all the noises (sirens, bands etc.), the floats, the horses, and the tons of candy that was thrown at her. She was so good. She pretty much just sat in her stroller or Gramma's arms and stared at everything (as you can see in the pictures). I have a feeling next year it will be a little harder trying to keep her from running out on the road after all the candy.

Waving the flag

Our first parade

She looked so cute in her red, white and blue

"What's that Gramma?"

Quincy slept through the entire parade, what a sweetie.

My cousin Tara danced in the parade with her dance team, she did such a good job!

A lot of people go to this small town parade

We couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise. You just never know in the U.P. what the weather is going to be like. This year it was beautiful! After the parade we walked up to my Grandma's house and had lunch with relatives on my mom's side of the family. It was really nice to see all of them again. We stayed there for a few hours and then we headed out to my Uncle Lowell's camp. The Anderson side of our family is getting so big! There were tons of people out there. Even some of my dad's cousins from Arizona and New Mexico flew in for the 4th this year. It was a huge family reunion for us and it was a great to see everyone as always. We had a big bean bag toss tournament, played card games, went swimming, and had a lot of fun just visiting with people. My uncle's also put on an awesome firework show for us that night too!

Rylee loved it out at camp!

She had fun playing in the water and sand with Gramma

Holly Sue and Anthony getting some sun

Tyler looked adorable in his beach gear

Quincy all bundled up for the fireworks (him and Rylee both slept through the fireworks even though they were right over us and so loud)

Once again it was a very fun filled 4th of July in the U.P! It was especially nice to be able to be home with family for the whole week, I wish we could do that every year!

Beach Babe!

While we were home we went to the beach that's only a few blocks from my parents house. It is a beautiful beach in Marquette. The sand is so nice. It is on Lake Superior though so unfortunately the water is pretty darn cold. I could only put my feet in for a little bit before I felt like they were numb and had to get out. Rylee loved playing in the sand but she wasn't a fan of how cold the water was either. My sister Bailey on the other hand was not affected by the cold water. She was swimming away in it. Quincy even came to the beach with us for a little while. Next summer the two of them will have fun together playing at the beach.
