Our New Family Vehicle

We quickly realized that our cars were just not big enough for our growing family, we needed an SUV. Brad's been looking into SUV's for awhile now and I finally gave in. So we traded in our Mazda and bought a GMC Acadia (we did our part to help out GM). It's a 7 passenger vehicle and we really like the extra room. We got it just in time for our long trip home!

Happy Father's Day!

I've always felt extremely blessed to have the dad that I do. Since I was little I've looked up to him, admired him, and was always so proud to have him as my daddy. To this day nothing has changed. I feel so close to him and know that I can talk to him just about anything. I am lucky because not every girl can say all this about their dad. The father/daughter relationship is so special. Since the day Brad's met me he has known how much my dad mean's to me. When we found out we were going to have Rylee he was so excited to have that special relationship with his daughter too. Now we have 2 girls and Brad has the opportunity to have his 2 girls look up to him as their hero like I do to my dad. I am so proud of Brad for the father that he is. He is so great with the girls and helps me out more than I ever could've imagined. Rylee loves her daddy so much and soon Sadie will be able to show her love for her daddy too.

Daddy and his girls

I am truly so thankful for the fathers in my life! Happy Father's Day to my 2 favorite dads and all the rest of the dad's out there too!

Kreider's Visit

The Kreider's came down on Friday to visit for the weekend. It was so great to see them again. We hadn't seen them since Mylee was 2 weeks old and she is now 3 months old. She's grown a lot in the last few months and is still as sweet as ever. Right now there seems like there is a big difference between the 2 girls but they are only 2 months apart. It will be fun to watch them grow up together. Rylee and Maddy had fun together again as well. We all went to the pool on Saturday but I forgot my camera. Jac had hers so I'll have to get some pics from her. We tried to get a picture of the 4 girls together but it didn't go so well. Maddy and Rylee both wanted to hold Sadie (poor Mylee) so Rylee wasn't to happy that she didn't get to hold her sister. Oh well, maybe the next time we're together we'll get a better picture.

Thanks for coming down guys! We love seeing you and look forward to the next get together!

Swimming with Gramma

We also went to our neighborhood pool while they were down here. We had a great day and the pool pretty much to ourselves the whole time. Rylee loves the pool. She had so much fun with Gramma in the big pool. She was all smiles.

Gramma and the kids sitting in the big pool

Rylee loved jumping in to the pool to Gramma!

They both look so happy!

Kicking and watching her "bubbles" as she calls them.

Pretty girl!

As you can see she had a blast in the pool with Gramma.

We don't have a beach close by so the beach toys have to be used in the pool instead.

Sadie slept pretty much the whole time.

We packed a lunch and ate our lunch down there too.

Taking a break to eat some puffs.

We had so much fun with you guys, thanks for coming down to see us!

Water Park

While my fam was here we went to a little water park down the street from us. It was our first time going there and it was a lot of fun. I am sure we will be going there a lot more this summer. The kids weren't too sure of the water at first but eventually they played in it. I wasn't expecting to get wet but by the time I left that place I was soaked. Now I know better for next time. Vanessa took a lot of great pictures that I thought I would share. She's got a lot more of Quincy that I am sure she'll put up on her blog too.

Gramma, Auntie Nessa, and Quincy Visit

Last Wednesday my mom, Vanessa and Quincy came down to visit us. I was so excited to have them down! Brad went home for the weekend to go camping so it was just us girls with the 3 kids. Things can be kind of chaotic when you have a newborn, 1 year old, and a 2 year old around but it was a lot of fun. I hadn't seen Quincy in so long and he is getting to be such a big boy. He'll be 1 already in less than a week! He is so smiley and such a good little boy. Rylee and Quincy played pretty good together. I really wish we could see them more often! We are going home for the 4th so luckily we'll get to see them again soon!

Having fun together in the bath.

Gramma reading to the grandkids

In the mornings we went outside and let the kids play in their pajamas. Here they are feeding the ducks. The ducks actually come up a lot closer to get the bread. Rylee loves to feed them and does it all the time.

They played together on the little play gym we have. Here they are chiling at the "kids bar".
We did so much together but we also got some time to just relax. Vanessa takes a lot of pictures so I have a lot more pictures to post from the pool and the waterpark. Hopefully I'll be able to post them soon.

More Sadie Pics

I realized I haven't posted any recent Sadie pics in awhile and she is already 3 weeks old today. Here are some pictures from the last 2 weeks. They change so much at the beginning! Her hair is still dark but it is starting to lighten. I have a feeling she might end up being blonde like Rylee cause her eyebrows are so light. Her eyes are definitely different than Rylee's. I think she has Brad's eyes. They are really blue right now and something about them looks like Brad. She sure is a sweetie and thankfully a really good baby.
