Rylee was baptized this past weekend. My parents, Bailey, Jason and Jaclynn Kreider (Rylee's Godparents), and their daughter Maddy (also our Goddaughter) came down for the weekend. It was a very special weekend for us and we were so happy they were able to be here to share in this day with us. The baptism went great. Rylee never cried but she was pretty vocal. She was talking (or squealing) away while we were up in front of the church. She was making sure she was heard too. Grandma Spindler made her gown for her out of my shawl from my wedding dress. It's a very simple gown with the same pattern at the bottom of her dress that I had at the bottom of my wedding dress. I love the gown and it looked so cute on her. After the baptism we had a little party for her back at our house. Our friends (Ryan, Mindi, Grace Dippold, Ryan Smith, Jeff and Alli Dettwiler) also joined us. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it and help make the day so special.
We weren't allowed to take pictures during the baptism ceremony but we took a lot of pictures after it. So here are a bunch of pictures from the photo session that took place after the baptism.
The 3 of us
Jason, Jaclynn, Brooke, Rylee, and Brad
Rylee with her Godparents, Jason and Jaclynn. We are blessed to have such great friends and honored to have them be our daughter's Godparents. They are great role models for Rylee to help teach her about faith, family, and love.
The 6 of us with Father Phil
My parents and us
Rylee with Gramma and Grampa. They got Rylee a little necklace and bracelet for her baptism. The necklace has the tiniest cross charm on it...it is so cute. You can kind of see it in some of the pictures.
Auntie Bailey holding Rylee. Auntie Bailey was such a big help this weekend and played so good with Rylee and Maddy. Both of the girls just loved her.

Rylee and Maddy (Godsisters)
God Bless you Rylee. We love you!
